So I am always talking about what a perfect baby Jayson is, (which he is) but man does he have sensitive skin! He has had so many different rashes caused by lotions laundry detergent, fabric softener and perfumes. He doesn't seem to be bothered by all the rashes but he always seems to get a new one when I want to take a nice picture of him. Rashes are a little better then his older brothers who always seem to get a scrap their face before their picture is taken. Jayson can't help the rashes sometimes it seems the twins get scrapped up on purpose so I won't take their picture.

I am so excited that the twins are starting to play on their own more it is perfect timing for Christmas. I am feeling so productive this Christmas season. They are getting really into race cars. They need a race track though because right now they are racing their cars on the window sill. The sill and the blinds are getting really beat up. There favorite activity though is something I hate-blowing bubbles! It is annoying and sticky so they have to wait till someone esle is around is play with them

quiet time

All my kids are asleep at he same time! it is an amazing thing. It has taken two and a half months but the twins are finally starting to get back into a routine and not being as clingy. It has been hard getting them to take naps and got to bed because they wanted mommy.

I sometimes forget how smart my kids are and how big they are since they don't seem to want to do much talking. For example I will tell them I will go and get them a snack and then get side tracked and forget they get very mad when I don't comeback. Also if I say we are leaving and going to grandmas and we do some other errands first they get very impatient. I really wish their impatience would be expressed in words instead of grunts.

Also I let them play with some unbreakable Christmas ornaments then tried to put them on the tree bad idea, because now they think they can have any ornament off the tree. So we have gated the tree and I hope it helps other wise I don't know if the tree will remain decorated till Christmas.

Stevie is starting to have his dolls talk to each other, he will sit in the corner and just have his dolls gab back and forth. He also has the need to take a toy where ever he goes. he loves to fill a bucket or basket with small dolls and carry it around all day. Each day he picks a new doll that is his favorite for that day and he gets very made if anyone touches it -especially Spencer because he is afraid Spence will take it.
Spencer is learning to experiment-what makes the loudest noise when hit together what stacks together, what he can get away with coloring on. Though last night in the bath was the best. He had 2 cups and he would fill them with water then see how far his fists could go in before the water over flowed.

Jayson is still an amazingly happy baby. He will smile forever if he is full and being talked to. He is awe struck when he watches his brothers jump around.

Daddies little men

So having 3 boys is something new every second--even every diaper change has a new surprise, dirt, rocks, crayons. The twins are getting so BIG and beginning to act like little men. I had 2 babies and them I brought home a new bundle and it seemed the twins became little men over night.I may think it a little sad that my boys are getting so big but Paul couldn't happier. Paul now has 2 little shadows that have to do whatever or he does. They love using tools just like daddy and helping build anything from block
towers to blanket forts. Though as they get older I am amazed at how different their personalities are. Stevie is my artist he will color for hours. He gets an intense look on his face as he colors circles then changes to scribble. He loves to tell me the story of his picture, even though I don't always know what he is saying. Spencer is more mechanical he loves to build knock down and build again. They are both little dare devils-they love to jump off the couch, boxes, laundry baskets, whatever is more then a foot off the ground. Even little Jay's personality is shining through already he is very easy going which is good since his bothers are go go go ever second.

I am back

So it has been a year but hopefully now that I have a computer again this one won't break. So in that past year Paul has graduated training to be a crew chief, we have moved, the twins have entered their terrible 2's and have had a new baby. Most exciting of whoich is the new baby.
Jayson James Ayers was born on September 22 2010 at about 5:30 pm, he weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 21.5 in long. He is now 14lbs 24 in, which is in the 90+ percentile. He is huge! which is a switch for me since the twins didn't hit 14 pounds till almost 6 months.
The twins love Jayson, proably a little too much, good thing he is a husky boy so he can handle all the "love and affection". They can't wait till he can crawl and interact with them. They are conatanly trying to share their toys and snacks.
